Kansas District Royal Ranger Pow Wow 2011

Josh and I attended the Kansas District Royal Ranger 2011 Pow Wow over the weekend of September 16 - September 18. Drizzle and scattered thunder showers accompanied the camping trip. We had fun and our outpost won a few awards.

Josh Hunting 2011

Josh and I went hunting Saturday, September 10 from sun up until sun down. He had a huge buck in his sites right before sun down but missed the shot. We returned Sunday, September 11 from sun up until 10:30 and then returned at 6:00 in the evening. He took a shot at a buck at 7:15 and harvested that nine point buck.

Fireworks

we were wondering if we would be able to fire our aerial fireworks on sunday. with the lack of rain we have seen this year, it did not look good. thank the lord, it rained for almost 45 minutes sunday afternoon. we shot fireworks for about 1 1/2 hours sunday evening.
